Alison & Jim would like to welcome you to Newnes Flatlets. The business was started in 1946 as a guest house when Newnes family moved from Nottinghamshire, it was converted into holiday flats in the early 1960’s and is now under the stewardship of the 4th generation of our family, Alison & Jim, who will maintain the tradition of offering value for money accommodation, a friendly welcome, a personal service, and a desire to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The building is a converted Victorian property where some of the original features have been incorporated in the constant updating. It occupies a prime sea front position overlooking the boating lake, & what were the bowling greens, with front facing flats above ground floor level having commanding sea views. It is ideally situated for beach, shops, theatre, cinema & all other major sea front attractions, but at the quieter end of the sea front. The railway station, coach park, bus station are within a 15 min walk or short taxi ride.

En-suite Facilities

Newnes Holiday Flats consists of 7 Flats, all flats have en-suite facilities. Ground floor flats are available and our front facing flats above ground floor level have beautiful sea views.
